After conversion of one Windows 2003-Server (Proliant ML 350G, latest Windows-patches, latest SMART-updates ) to PDC I am unable to login to the management homepage ( password not matching to user) even if using Administrator und its correct password.
Uninstalling ad reinstalling does not help. Beside this problem the server is running fine.
What do I have to check?

Regards

Dr. Traugott Ziegler

hmmm....
you can delete the CPQHMMD.ACL file and the software will establish new defaults (administrator/administrator).
make a back up of this file and give it a diff extension name feks.bak

But if you have an existing server for wwhere you do know the password...go to the
c:\compaq\wbem directory and copy the cpqhmmd.acl file to the same directory on your target servers. Now restart the web agent service on those target servers...(or the Foundation Agent service).

now login what happens ensure you are using explorer 6 or 7

This is how we thank in the forum

http://forums11.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/helptips.do?#33

Enjoy:)
does this work
