topic CPQTEAM.EXE in ProLiant Servers (ML,DL,SL)

I'm running Win2000 terminal server with Citrix MF XP. I have dual NICs teamed for load balancing and this is working well. In an effort to cut down on resource utilization, I am wondering how to disable the teaming tray icon from appearing in the taskbar of all my users. I have already tried going into install mode and unchecking the box, and I have tried making a regedit to the TrayIcon value in HKLM and deleting this value. No luck in either case. Any suggestions? Thank you...

Hi ...I've experienced the same problem. By using Regmon, I have found that the CPQTEAM application requires write access into HKLM\Software\Compaq\CPQTEAM. If it doesn't, it appears to not be able to read the "Trayicon" value and so therefore defaults to "display trayicon". By changing the permissions to the path I just mentioned so that "Users" have read & Write access, and setting the "Trayicon" value to 0, the trayicon remains hidden
