      <description>i have a ML370 G3 and trying to configure a raid 0 volume from 2x 18g hard drives but i'm having a hell of hard time doing it.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;smart start says there are no controllers available.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;what am I missing here?</description>

      <description>&amp;gt; smart start says there are no controllers available&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;There might no be. The ML370 G3 by default comes with a dual channel SCSI adapter (NO RAID).       <description>Yep, as above.&lt;BR /&gt;The ML370 G3 has no raid controller when shipped.&lt;BR /&gt;You need a SmartArray 6400 or similar.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Once you install a SmartArray card, make sure you run the latest "Firmware Maintenance CD" to bring all server firmware up to date.</description>
