Drive rebuild issue

We have 2 logical drives mirrored with 2 physical drives.

One drive is failed and we replaced it. One of the logical drive shows rebuild completed. But the other logical drive status shown as Ready to build. But after a long 24 hours wait also it is not initiated. Removed the newly replaced drive and placed another new drive but same story

Can anybody suggest what needs to done on this

did you try to restart the server ??

i know what you maybe think, but sometimes its very good to do it.

Hi

Yes We tried rebooting the server and now again the drive shown as predictive failure

hi,

if you would try to call HP supported the first question will be if you have the latest firmware on the RAID controller.

Did you try to update the firmware ??

it is one level lower than the latest one
