I am setting up a brand new dl380 g6 and have the latest software (2.74) for the P410i controller and I am still getting 100% usage in the HP Managment viewer? Also some of the graphics (like drive capacity limits) show up as a red X. Any ideas.

Sorry for the thread jack. But this was the only one I found with info on the P410i 100% usage problem.

Thanks

Doug

I noticed that on my new DL360G6 servers (running windows 2003) that the HP Homepage shows the P410i controller's "CPU Usage" is running at 100% eventhough the server is not doing anything. I am running 8.30 SupportPaq. Anybody seen this or have a recommendation?

Reset the System Bios (not the array bios) back to Defaults and reboot server. This fixed the issue for my BL460c G6 with the P410i controller. I noticed today HP removed driver version 6.18.2.64 from their website for Windows 2008 x64. 6.18.0.64 seems to be the latest at this point.

Cheers.
