just went through and set up the vcr on one of my servers. i noticed it doesn't want you to use administrator as the username for accessing it, so i picked something else. now half my agents aren't working. i looked in the vcrm to try and change the username and password that it's using, but can't find those options anywhere. where do i set the username and password that the agents need to use to acces the vcr?

Login to the VCA homepage https://myagentserver:2381/vcagent

There is an option called "Change Agent Settings". Click on that. You can specify the VCRM name, username and password. Note: If you have installed System Management Homepage on VCRM machine, then you have to create user groups in the OS. Add the vcrm user to a specific group and mention that group name in System Management Homepage usergroups page.

For ex. vcrmuser is the username. I create a group called SMHadmins in the OS. Then add vcrmuser to SMHadmins group. Then I login to SMH https://vcrmmachine:2381/ . Goto Settings -> security -> usergroups. Specify SMHadmins under Administrator section. Save the configuration.

Now browse to VCAGENT homepage https://myagentserver:2381/vcagent. Goto 'Change agent settings' page. Specify vcrmuser and appropriate password.

If the servers are part of a domain, then prefix the group name and username above with the domain name. i.e., mydomain\SMHadmins & mydomain\vcrmuser

Cheers
Hari
