Are the Servers being taken down while Auto-Discovery is running.
You might want to ensure the Auto-Discovery task doesn't coincide with the Server Downtimes, or runs after they're back.

Is there a way to lock the SNMP flag on a device setting? I have about 50 remote servers that are taken down every night and then brought back up. During this time, IM7 changes the status to blue. Every morning I have to manually edit those servers and turn the SNMP flag back on.

Auto Discovery has been turned off, at least as far as scheduled runs. I use it to manually add new servers, but it is run only on demand. It is not running at that time. I understand that IM7, when it is discovering new devices, will reset the SNMP flag if it has trouble communicating with SNMP. But once the discovery process has completed and has determined that SNMP is a suitable protocol to use, it should be locked. But apparently that is not the case - the polling process seems to do that as well (reset the SNMP flag).
