Check this out for the dynamic VLANs:

http://www.foundrynet.com/pdf/wp-8021x-authentication-active-directory.pdf

And yes the open vlan feature will give unauthenticated users access to whatever vlan you specify.

hi,

on a procurve 2650 i want to secure switchports with 802.1x (peap-mschapv2) and dynamic vlans via radius (ias).

2 questions:

- how can i assign vlans via microsoft ias? i've found nothing about it in the manuals.

- for guests (unauthenticated) can i use the open vlan-feature? or how can get unauth users the guest-vlan?

thanks in advance
