    <description>I am plugging RJ45 cables ,conneting my server to 2524 .&lt;BR /&gt;I see in the specs of 2524 that it supports 30 VLAN's .Then why do i get this problem .&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://www.hp.com/rnd/products/switches/switch2524-2512/features.htm" target="_blank"&gt;http://www.hp.com/rnd/products/switches/switch2524-2512/features.htm&lt;/A&gt;</description>

      <title>new vlan in 2524 makes the system slow</title>

      <description>I created a new vlan , other than the default one, and now i find that when this new vlan is active , the server becomes dead slow .I have assigned only 2 ports to this vlan .The rest are in the default vlan .If i unplug the cables of the new vlan , the server is back to normal .can somebody help ?&lt;BR /&gt;Switch1-0&amp;gt; sh vlan 10&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; Status and Counters - VLAN Information - Ports - VLAN 10&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;  802.1Q VLAN ID : 10&lt;BR /&gt;  Name          : int2&lt;BR /&gt;  Status        : Static&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;  Port Information Mode     Unknown VLAN Status&lt;BR /&gt;  ---------------- -------- ------------ ----------&lt;BR /&gt;  17               Untagged Learn        Up&lt;BR /&gt;  18               Untagged Learn        Up&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>What are you plugging into this new VLAN? &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;One thing that comes to mind is the 2524 has a single mac-address forwarding table. If it sees the same mac-address on different VLANs you will packet loss issues.</description>
