Thanks Guys, I have installed the updated PCM+ and it is working now.

I foolishly thought I had set PCM+ to automatically update, so was not aware that 2.2 had been made available.

I am using PCM+ 2.1, and have recently swapped a 4108gl for a 5400zl.

The network diagram in PCM+ shows all the links and VLANs showing information in the format

Link from Port B25 on (1000Mbps)10.xxx.xxx.xxx to Port 49 (1000Mbps) on 10.xxx.xxx.xxx Port 49 is Tagged on VLAN1

However, my fibre links DO NOT show the port number and show (0Mbps) rather than the true connection speed.

e.g.

Link from Port(0Mbps)10.xxx.xxx.xxx to Port 49 (1000Mbps) on 10.xxx.xxx.xxx Port 49 is Tagged on VLAN1

If I run a trace between the two switches no source port is given.

Two questions if I may:

1) why does it only give VLAN information for the destination port?

2) why do the fibre ports not show a port number and show 0Mbps as a speed?

As an addition to the above, I have just noticed that the fibre module in position L does not appear in the port properties on the VLAN Map.

Ports L1 - L4 are tagged to VLAN 1 and VLAN 2. If I telnet to the swtich tha VLAN port configuration shows this correctly

Rather than waste too much time with what sounds like a bug in PCM 2.1, I'd recommend you give PCM 2.2 a try and see if the issue is still there.
