PNM configuration management firmware updates

I'd like to upgrade firmware on some Procurve 3500 series switches with the PNM tool. According to the website the latest firmware is K.12.43 however after downloading "procurve_firmware.prp" the latest firmware is still K.12.25. I could do a manual update of the switches, but the whole point of having a tool is to automate this process. So is the list outdated? If so, when will it be updated?

Hi

You should always download the a list of the latest firmware from:
From the configuration management, clicking the Software Update button, Download now!
will go out to the ProCurve support Web site and download a listing of the latest switch software versions.

Good Luck !!!

The firmware list in PNM is always behind the software releases. I am guessing there are separate teams working these products and that they don't communicate all that well.

If you want to take advantage of the TFTP server on the PNM platform you can copy the files to <PCM install="" directory="">\server\data\download. You will give up the scheduled upgrade features doing this. But it allows you to transfer files to and from the server.
stu...</PCM>
