    <description>PRobly you refer to that 4 ports are bonded to one ASIC and from there to the backplane.&lt;BR /&gt;And the oversubscription you have from the asic and the backplane.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;so a 4 port asic group is not more then 4 ports who are grouped on one asic (chip who is doing the switching).&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;On a 16 port switch, ports 0 to 3, 4 to 7, 8 to 11, and 12 to 15 are grouped together.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Goodluck</description>
