Drew,

In the PCM GUI, select the Tools->Preferences menu. If it's not open by default, open the "Global" node in the tree. Then click on the "Automatic Updates" node in the tree. Then press the "Check Now" button on the bottom of the screen and you should be on your way.

Regards,

SVB

Hello,

Our company recently invested in a bunch of procurves and i'm having problems discovering our 2610's with PCM B.02.322 - We also invested in a 2810-24G in which i successfully got it to discover (after setting up SNMPv3).

I have setup the Switches with an IP.
I have setup the SNMP information (for testing purposes i moved it to SNMP v1/2c as its easier to test with)

I have added the PCM server as a authorized manager (not sure if thats needed or not).

Heres my connection status info
-----------------------------
Checking read access community name...
Success...communication established with read community name

Checking write access community name...
Success...communication established with write community name

Communication was successfully established
with device x.x.x.x
-----------------------------

**I click next to start discovery
-----------------------------
Starting discovery

Error: unknown problem, device can't be discovered
-----------------------------

Can anyone think of why i would be having problem discovering the 2610's?

Thanks in advance!

Make sure you install Autoupdate 3 for PCM 2.3 which adds support for the 2610's. Looks like Autoupdate 1 added the support but go for Autoupdate 3.
