Hi Guys,

SETUP

Switch 1800
| 1 uplink
Switch 2626 a
|
Switch 2626 b

DISERED BEHAVIOUR
I want a computer on port 20 of the 1800 to be in VLAN 2 to communicate with a computer on VLAN2 on 2626B.

QUESTION
I probably need to create VLAN 2 on the switch in the middle right?
2. The uplinks are in VLAN1, how do i 'route' VLAN2 traffic over these uplinks? I only have one cable I can use per uplink
sure, VLAN2 on the sw A, make it tagged if you want VLAN1 to be carried also. So every port on every switch that interconnects switches must be a tagged member of VLAN2.
You will have to add VLAN2 as tagged on the uplink ports on the "middle switch" and the other two as well.
