topic Help with OSPF and JUNIPER in Switches, Hubs, and Modems

Hi everybody!

I need to configure a JUNIPER router with OSPF.
The router can ping to the all ip addresses in the switch. But when I try to enable OSPF, the protocol doesn't allow the communication between the VLAN's.

Does anyone know what I am missing?

Thanks!

*I attached the configurations in the ProCurve Switch and JUNIPER router.

OSPF on Juniper is pretty straight forward. But remember that the RE takes part in the routing, so if you have any firewall filters to protect the RE you must knock some holes in it.

Hi Paulen,

I don't have any Firewall on the router.
I just configured OSPF, but the communication between VLAN's is not happening. I've been reading, and I just set the OSPF area on the interfaces that are connected to the router. I don't know what else to do to the VLAN's can ping each other.

Thanks!
