I have a problem where 7102 which is allowing sip registrations and traffic without any problems into the network but when I try to register with a sip provider outside of our network the connection never is established.
Any idea what could be the problem?

It looks like we are getting somewhere.
Now I can register but on registration server it looks like I am connecting to port 1698 instead of 5060 ... any solutions to this?

Thank you very much ....

fyi, while in config mode on a 7102/7203, to run another non-config command, you must use the keyword "do" in front, example 'do show run', 'do write mem'...

hth...jeff

I am not sure if I explained current status of my problem correctly.
I have a sip client on internal network and that sip client tries to connect to the remote sip server. The connection/registration should happen on the port 5060 but it looks like we are connecting on port above 1024.
It looks like router is doing changing the port before it leaves the router.
