can't detect moden after I used the Compaq Restore CD

I got a presario desktop 5bwm21, after I used the Compaq Quick Restore CD, the computer can't detect my moden. This happend before, and I knew I need to find the package that has the driver for the moden stored somewhere in the hard drive, I just don't know where to look for.

The conexant modem driver at:

is probably the correct one tho it could be the Broadcom one at:

both are good for ME/2000/XP
