3500 yl Firmware crash

Hi,
i have problem with my 3500yl 24p switch,
am was upgrading firmware to K.14.47
it hangs, and went to rom mode (=>)
please assist i tried with xmodem installation i donot work,
i tried with the command do
please find an attach

hi,
it appears that the boot rom update didn't work, as it should have. your bootrom must be higher for software K.14.47, i guess it should be 12.14 or higher...
for the xmodem transfer i recommand you first change the speed! cos otherwise it could take hours..
speed 115200
for example.
the the do command and then you must tell your xmodem sender to send the file..!
i always use teraterm for this.

i forgot..
use a software like K.13.60 or something..
reboot the switch and than upload K.14.47 to secondary flash and reboot from secondary.
i had the same problem and the workaround is to boot from secondary cos from primary the bootrom update didn't work as expected.

hey,
thanks for your response am trying with that software, but seems to be hang when is set the speed to 115200 no action for more than hour.

you might try with a K.13.45 Software.
if it still doesn't work open a call at HP.

i spoke to the HP
as i told u before i got a error COMPACT FLASH NOT PRESENT..
as they told me there is problem with the flash..
so i stoped and fwd to HP
But any way your help make my second switch in working mode
