Conexant 56K ACLink Modem

I have a new HP ZE5568cl with a Conexant 56K ACLink Modem. I have JOI Internet service. In order to use the call waiting function (1 phone line) I need drivers to upgrade to v.92/v.44 modem. Can my modem be upgraded, if so where would I find the drivers?

That's a link to the conexant support driver download page. You can try those drivers, but remember that they're generic drivers and there's no guarantee that they'll work. I have the same laptop, but I only use my modem for winfax.
There'd be no way to know if that modem is upgradeable except by trial and eror unless you can track down the manufacturer which is likely not hp. You'd need the fcc # from it and do a search on a modem search site for that number.
