Dear forum,

I try to configure different maps based on various IP subnet on my PCM+. I can reach all switches via SSH, Telnet and SNMP. All switches are part of the global map but the subnet maps are never up-to-date!
Any ideas???

A second problem concerns the traffic monitor. All switch ports I would like to monitor are in "no data" status whereas there are traffic through these ports. I can not reset the SNMP communities to "public".
Any other ideas???

Finally, does anybody knoes how to customize the PCM shortcut called "web access to equipment" to use https instead of http?

Regards

Currently you can't change the launching of the web agent from http to https. You might want to contact HP and submitt an enhancement request.

On the traffic monitor stuff try removing the switch from Traffic Monitor, change your read community name to public and adding it again.
Hi Mohamed, thanks for your answer.

Is it a known bug or a limitation of HP PCM+ to only implement traffic monitor for "public" community?
I manage a hundred of switches dispatched all around EMEA so it's not possible for me to use "public" community.

Do you know if it works better with snmpv3?

Hi Shellie

I'd like to know how I could participate to sich a program. I'm deploing for a client a whole infrastructure with Procurve switches (53xx & 2524) and AP (520)

I've got the same "No Traffic" as Burtin & some other problems as the interface names given to the switches do not appear in PCM/PCM+

Thank's for any information.

JeanLouis

I experience the same (with the traffic monitoring thing) - even with the release 1.5 released a few days ago. I've tried everything and just spent 1 hour looking through tese forums. There are apparently a lot of people experiencing this - BUT NO SOLUTIONS!!!
If anyone has heard from HP or know what's wrong, please come forward :0)
I have the go ahead to purchase the PCM+, but have not as the limits & bugs in the product out weight the price they want for it.

James
