You need to setup the operator password in addition to the manager password for the gui to work properly

I have 2 HP 3400cl switches stacked. One configured as the commander and the other as a member. When I use the web interface to manage the switches through the commander I can see that the member has attached successfully and the configuration appears to be ok, but when I select the member switch from the drop down box nothing gets displayed in the GUI. Can anyone help me?

When you connect to the web interface, make sure you login with the Manager username/password.

Easiest way is to set both an Operator and Manager password.

I believe this problem can occur if you login as Operator, or Operator has no password.

You're a star!!! I didn't have a password set-up for the Operator. I've just given it one and it works fine. Thanks Again!
