Hi,
Just want to be sure it is the right config on the server side.
I want to have 2 VLANs on the same interface, one for server access and the other one for heartbeat between 2 servers.
I used HP network config utility to create a native untagged VLAN #1 as server-vlan and a 2nd VLAN #661, tagged this time, as the heartbeat-vlan.
I have assigned 10.17.201.1/18 IP addr for the server interface and 10.3.31.51/24 for the heartbeat interface. On a 2nd server I have assigned 10.17.201.2/18 IP addr for the server interface and 10.3.31.52/24 for the heartbeat interface.
I can reach server using server-vlan IP addr but 2 servers can't reach each other via heartbeat vlan.
I want to be sure that it is a problem coming from the switch configuration and not from the server configuration.
Thanks for your help
