https://community.hpe.com/t5/switches-hubs-and-modems/procurve-2524-cpu-high-utilization/m-p/3420802#M3990 I've been looking through the forums for similar issues but I haven't found a solution, yet.<BR /><BR />Using:<BR />HP Procurve 2524 Layer-2 switch<BR />logged in and connected via console<BR />F_05_22 firmware<BR /><BR />When switch boots, CPU utilization rises to 90-92% for about 25 mins, then drops to 10-20% continuously. This is with no devices attached and the switch is sitting standalone logged in via console.<BR />Checked log, no errors.<BR />Downgraded firmware to F.05.17 and F.05.09 and still showed 90-92% utilization.<BR /><BR />I've tried this on three (3) 2524's with the same results.
