I assume you want an RJ45 loopback for Ethernet:
Counting with tab side down, teeth side up:

1       Gr      -> O
2       W/Gr    -> O/W
3       O       -> Gr
6       O/W     -> Gr/W

If that's not what you want then see:

http://www.meadow.net/pinouts.html

Ron

Does anyone know how to make a cheap loop back cable? SOmeone once told me you're supposed to cut off one end, strip certain colors down to the bare wire, then cross them (twist together) and you've got a loopback!

Sadly i just can't seem to remember.

Thanks much
Jon Posey
