<title>topic QOS on 5300 in Switches, Hubs, and Modems</title>
    <link>https://community.hpe.com/t5/switches-hubs-and-modems/qos-on-5300/m-p/3679859#M6481</link>
<description>I have two sites, both using 802.1p QoS priority tagged vlans. The link between the two sites will be routed. Am I correct in thinking on the 5300 I need to map the vlan priority tag to a DSCP value when the traffic traverses the routed link, then on the other side revert back to a vlan priority tag?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If so, do I have to do anything other than enable QoS? Can I leave all else on defaults? I've been looking through the Advanced traffic management pdf but as you can guess, I'm a little confused! :)</description>
