Hi

Make sure you can reach the DHCP server from the Core switch, and then add the command ip helper-address followed by the DHCP server IP address in that particular Vlan you need.

Good Luck !!!

Hi ,

I have a problem with VLAN tagging. Swtich HP 5406 is my core switch. All floor switches are connected to Core switch via fiber channel cable via port 24. Each port of my edge switches in a different VLANs. You may find my one of the edge switches configuration ( A1 ). Core Switch has VLAN 100 which i created on D16-20 ports. A device which is being used as DHCP server and Internet Gateway connected to D20 port in VLAN100.
When I try to get an ip address from DHCP Server from edge switch i can not.
I think that there is problem with VLAN tagging.
You may find all information in the attachement.
