If the IAP functions as a master IAP in the network, the asterisk sign "*" is&lt;BR /&gt;displayed next to the IAP.....&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So that means that this is the IAP which was elected or configured to be the master of this IAP stack.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please note for Aruba wireless products, it is better to use the Airheads Community.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://community.arubanetworks.com/home" target="_blank"&gt;https://community.arubanetworks.com/home&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;There is also an Airheads Forum in German (Deutschsprachiges Forum), if you prefer it.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://community.arubanetworks.com/community-home?CommunityKey=fce62b9b-00aa-4fa0-8973-e1e4fa6b3e2f" target="_blank"&gt;https://community.arubanetworks.com/community-home?CommunityKey=fce62b9b-00aa-4fa0-8973-e1e4fa6b3e2f&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
