<title>topic COMPAQ NETBEUI PATCH in Communications and Wireless</title>
    <link>https://community.hpe.com/t5/communications-and-wireless/compaq-netbeui-patch/m-p/2934979#M1110</link>
<description>After installing the patch provided for supporting NETBEUI protocol on XP Pro I could not get my EVO 610c to establish a successfull TCP/IP connection to my ISP, the attempt resulting on a message prompting me that TCP/IP could not be installed properly...again, everything worked fine until the patch was installed. I even tried and uninstall the patch but that did not affect the behaviour of the machine. On the other side I can get a TCP/IP connection if using the XP dialer instead of the one provided by the ISP (AT&amp;amp;T Global Network) but I can not get any DNS server to work, resulting in an unusefull connection anyway. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Leo</description>
