topic WL300 Software Access Point in Communications and Wireless

Hello there... I've got an odd problem. I've tried to install the software access point into two different machines running Windows 98 with no luck. The first machine had a 3com wired NIC in it and a clean install of 98... when I installed the WL300 card and then attempted to installed the WL300 software access point, the machine would lock dead upon bootup. I had to remove the hardware to make it boot normally.

So, I went to my other machine. Clean install of 98 with an Intel 8255-based motherboard integrated NIC. I'm trying to install the software access point and it keeps telling me that there are no wired ethernet NICs to choose from to make this installation a bridge to my wired LAN. Where do I go from here? I want to install the wireless bridge in this machine... help!

Thanks!
Bob Smith
