    <description>Bashir -- &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Based on the following thread, it appears that non-certified cards are locked out:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=574653" target="_blank"&gt;http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=574653&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Even though the BG2200 chipset is supported, if the card wasn't the HP/Compaq-specific version, it won't work.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I just purchased an HP W500 WLAN card (about the best price was directly through HPshopping.com) after running into this same issue myself with the Intel BG2200 Mini-PCI card.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;-- Chris</description>

      <description>I bought Wireless mini PCI card "Intel Pro 2200 B/G" in order to install in HP nc6000. After the installation I get this message&lt;BR /&gt;"104-unsupported wireless device"&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;According the spec of nc6000 this card is supported. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Any kind of help is appreciated!!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks&lt;BR /&gt;Bashir</description>
