dsl connection problem

i have an hp omnibook 500. i am unable to get my new dsl running. the people at the dsl company said to try getting a driver for my computer from hp.com. i am unable to find it. would anyone be so kind as to link me or hook me up? thanks.

What version of Windows are you using? I assume you connect to the DSL Modem via an Ethernet cable using the builtin LAN connection and you are looking for the driver for it?

Integrated 3Com 56 Kbps3 Modem + LAN (Ethernet 10/100) via Mini PCI type IIIA card with wake-on-LAN, PXE and WfM 2.0 compatibility (standard higher-end models). Modem-only and no-modem models also available.

Ron, thank you for reaching out. I have windows xp and am connecting to the dsl via the ethernet link. yes i am look for a downloadable driver.
