No solution yet for me, though I am no longer the owner of that laptop. I have upgraded to an nc6120 recently and have not yet setup bluetooth on it.
If I do come across a solution, I will post it here.
Thanks and good luck.
- Steve

I have a Compaq MultiPort Bluetooth adapter on a Compaq N600c with Windows XP SP2. Everything was working fine, until my company help desk upgraded Lotus Notes to version 6.5.
Now my Bluetooth software will not load properly and there is a cmd window that pops up on my windows login for btstac~1.exe (I am assuming that it is btstackserver.exe) that is failing when looking for a auto.mdm file in my notes folder. I noticed that there is a file in my Windows\system32 folder - btsendto_lnagent.nsf that is now associated with Lotus Notes. I have a suspicion that the Notes install changed the file associations for this (and all .nsf files), but I am not sure what it the associated program should be.
I cannot find any files that have been modified in the Widcomm program folder, or any other bt* files in the system32 folder.
I have not yet located any software to reinstall the Bluetooth apps, but if there is a fix that someone can suggest, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks,
- SL

you are not alone... we have this problem with Lotus Notes 6 & 7. On every Dell/HP/Compaq Notebook we have in our Company. The solution is to kick the BT Device from the autostart folder. But this isn´t a good solution I think.

do you have a better solution?
