Hi Mark

Can you boot, and get access to CLI ?

if you can, then try to recopy the boot image:
HP420#copy tftp file
1. Application image
2. Config file
3. Boot block image

choose 3, and the Boot ROM version is v3.0.6 , and the file is included in the zip file of Software version 2.1.5

Good Luck !!!

I'm getting the following errors from my AP420 when booting:
[sysAr5PciInit] Device Type Error
muxDevLoad failed for index 2
[sysAr5PciInit] Device Type Error
muxDevLoad failed for index 3
[sysAr5PciInit] Device Type Error
muxDevLoad failed for index 4
[sysAr5PciInit] Device Type Error
muxDevLoad failed for index 5
[sysAr5PciInit] Device Type Error
muxDevLoad failed for index 6
[sysAr5PciInit] Device Type Error
muxDevLoad failed for index 7
[sysAr5PciInit] Device Type Error
muxDevLoad failed for index 8
[sysAr5PciInit] Device Type Error
muxDevLoad failed for index 9

Version 2.15

I've done a "factory restore" and still the errors pop up during the boot process. What's next? Boot the 420 back to the factory?

Mark

Oops - needed a good "hardware" reset! I set it aside to configure two other 420's and the plugged it back in to follow your suggestion, but the errors were gone. It was the old "take two aspirin and go to bed" fix. Thanks for the idea, though.

Mark
