We are having a devil of a time getting ten of these units set up. The issue is the authentication using the WEP key. The WEP key is set up as we want it but the authentication process is at the default of open key. We must have a shared key. Does anyone know how we can make it a shared key?

Hi Brian

Do yo uwant to configure the ProCurve Access Point 420ww to have WEP key ?

If yyes, then what you need is to configure the AP with the Security Suit 2, which is: Static WEP shared keys used for encryption (open authentication).

Is that what you want ???

Good Luck !!!
