topic Country Code Question in Communications and Wireless

Hi, I am setting up 420 Ap's and have a question on Country codes.

I am in australia and when i set the country codes, and set the Ap's to auto select they keep choosing channel 13, which doesnt work.

I want to force it to only channels 1-11 or alternatively change the wireless nic's to look for channel 13's.

Any one come across this and know a good solution?

Thanks
It's probably best to manually specify the non-overlapping channels, 1, 6 and 11.

Most equipment sold in Australia should be able to use channel 13, but you will often find equipment that doesn't - which is why using 1-11 on your AP's is probably your best option.

Thanks Matt.

It does defeat the purpose of Auto assign a little. I thought it might be a HP bug that it allows the AP to choose port 13 when it should not be allowed in australia. i thought we were strictly 1-11 land.

Cheers
