    <description>Dear colleagues,&lt;BR /&gt;we have a Compaq 6710b notebook&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SN: CNU8023RGF      PN: GR892ES&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;it has a problem regarding the netowrk, when we do right click on the netowrk places and select properties to view the network connection we have, we can not see the Network connection, we tried to format the PC, upgrade the BIOS, but the same issue still exist.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The local area connection icon will appear in one of two cases only:&lt;BR /&gt;1- When we connect the AC adapter.&lt;BR /&gt;2- When we plug the Ethernet cable to the notebook.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;We opened a case with HP support, but still we don't have a soultion to this issue.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;please advice as soon as possible.&lt;BR /&gt;thx for your co-operation.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
