<title>topic Printer sharing over wireless in Communications and Wireless</title>
    <link>https://community.hpe.com/t5/communications-and-wireless/printer-sharing-over-wireless/m-p/4224923#M6754</link>
<description>An HP6988 printer is connected via USB to a Desktop computer running Windows XP SP1. The printer is shared as HP6988. The computer name is OFFICE. There are two notebooks; one HP and one LG running Vista Pro. Both have wireless connections, both have the same WORKGROUP name and share the same subnet. The LG can "see" the HP in the Network places and the HP can "see" the LG. Now the problem: We were able to sucessfully install and print to the HP6988 from the LG but the HP Notebook refuses to recognize the OFFICE as a legitimate network conection. I have compared the configurations of both notebooks and they appear to be identical. Any ideas?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Paul</description>
