topic Bluetooth problem in Communications and Wireless

I have a Pavilion dv6700 notebook running windows vista. In theory, when I add a bluetooth device that supports file transfer to Bluetooth Devices in Vista, I should be able to browse the contents of that device (and transfer files for that matter)using an appropriate icon in the Computer folder. Unfortunately this is not the case. The device I am trying to connect to my laptop is a Sony Ericsson K550i mobile phone. I am able to add the phone as a new bluetooth device and vista installs the all the necessary drivers but when I try to browse the contents of the phone via windows explorer, I get no directory listing. And when I try to transfer files from my laptop to my phone I receive an "Error establishing connection" error.
I am new to windows vista and the bluetooth capabilities it offers so any help would be much appreciated.

I had a z550 and a DV2872, i think you problem is

at the MSCONFIG, check the bluetooth, if it´s disabled, turn it enabled

or

Go to Control Painel and then open the Bluettoth configuration, see if it´s enabled for reciver or send folders, if not, take it on, and then check the password on the mobile and computer, Ask me for more
