Does your laptop have a PCMCIA port? Buy a wireless card to plug in. It will probably work better than the internal card. I have an Orinoco Gold A/B/G card that works fine. Make sure you buy the correct card, some old A/B cards might not be correct for your needs.

Regards,

Fred

I have wireless issues with my DV6125se. I took it to Best Buy and they said it was my motherboard, whick was recalled but mine has expired. Is there a cheap way to get my wireless back, besides spending $500 on a notebook that is 2yrs and 5 months old? Also why did'nt HP notify me there was a recall on this model.
