I have hp procurve 2626 on our network, my problem is that the remote hp switch 2626 doesn't work with VLAN 100 in which this is our VLAN for printer, but same configuration on same switch model this time direct fiber or utp uplink to our core and its works fine. I have cisco 1300 outdoor wireless in between the core and the remote switch. what configuration should i be doing on cisco and hp? note that other VLANs work fines e.g. management, dept. vlan. but not the VLAN 100. kindly answer my question i am stack on this matter. thanks

from HP side make sure tha uplink ports are tagged on VLAN 100, from Cisco side i'm not sure if it support 802.1q or how the traffic passes between the 2 site through the AP so you have to check with Cisco on that.

As Shadow13 has already stated, you will need to configure the cisco to carry the vlan.

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/wireless/access_point/350/configuration/guide/ap350ch4.html
