WDS and roaming question

I have seven HP 530 Access point I am trying to use roaming between access points and WDS between three AP. Should I use same or different channels. I don't have external antennas yet, so I am trying to use WDS and normal SSID traffic with radio 1, should this create any problems? Yesterday I got two WDS bridge to work, but after I connected third WDS every tunnel wen't down and didn't work after that.

Hi

From memories i know that for best pratices in the WDS systems to use:

1- Dedicated Radio on the 530.
2- Better with the 530 to use the a Channel with 5Ghz.
3- Make it a close system.

Now if you haven't got an antenna yet, that may is your problem if you are using the second Radio in the 530, because it doesn't have a built in Antenna for the second Radio if i'm not mistaken.

I did everything working fine after I changed encryption to WEB instead of WPA. So problem solved!

Web encryption worked. WPA and WPA2 didn't in this enviroment.
