      <title>java 8 blocking Procurve AP 420 web interface</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;have a bunch of Procurve 420's since Java 8 Update 51 the web interface doesn't work.&amp;nbsp; Tried IE, Firefox, and Chrome, none work; most throw the following error: "Application Blocked by Java Security".&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Tried adding the IP address to the exception list - no luck - It appears the Java console only wants URL's not IP addresses on the local network.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I know these&amp;nbsp;are old products, but we don't have the money to replace them.&amp;nbsp; I could revert to the command line interface but it's so&amp;nbsp;obscure that&amp;nbsp;those of us who aren't intimately familiar with the hardware find it nearly impossible to use.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is there a work-around/update that contains a certificate that Java will recognize and not block the GUI.&amp;nbsp; If not is there a straight forward guide to the CLI.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
