This might be a question if exchange is supported with the OS running on your rx1600 server, not of the server hardware. The hardware supports HP-UX 11i v2, OpenVMS and Linux.

see also

http://www.hp.com/products1/servers/integrity/entry_level/rx1600/specifications.html

You cannot run a supported ms windows version on that machine.

Not according to the website that Torsten referenced! It clearly states:

Support Operating System

HP UX 11i version 2, Linux (RHEL 3 Update 3, SuSE SLES9), and OpenVMS V8.2 and v8.2-1

Windows is NOT mentioned!

The newer rx1620 will, according to this site: http://www.hp.com/products1/servers/integrity/entry_level/index.html

Good Luck - Tim

If MS used SQL for Exchange then things would be fine on Integrity, but they don't, so the database they use is very tied to the x86 hardware. Even if you got it to run, I don't think you would fine the performance acceptable. You might want to look at the ProLiant DL385 or DL585 with dual core Opterons for high performance Exchange for a while. Integrity is a great SQL server, but Exchange doesn't use SQL.
