      <title>RX2800 console through MP and VGA</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;RX2800 i2 with OpenVMS&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;From my understanding, the console can be either the MP or VGA, but not both.&amp;nbsp; Is this understanding correct?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My concern is this:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;After changing the primary console to the MP, VGA console output stops when the OS is booted.&amp;nbsp; So during boot, until the vms login window appears, it just sits there like it is frozen.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>It is correct, AFAIK.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;But with the MP as console you can watch the boot process from ILO/MP and it is recorded in the console log.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
