      <description>Please place 1 disk in one of the top 2 disk slots and it's mirror disk in one of the bottom 2 disk slots. That's because you are duplexing now: accessing the disks over 2 different controllers, so you are safe when 1 controller fails.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Install windows on 1 disk, then mirror the disk just like you would do on 32-bits windows.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Marco</description>

      <description>Hi KVK,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The mirroring of the OS disk in Itanium servers is not going to be easy in Windows.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The document pointed out by Shivakumar may not work here as this is a different windows 2003 version.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The main problem may arise due to the fact that there is an EFI partition. Any mirroring solution should handle this part to succeed.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;My suggestion would be to go for the RAID controller on this system and provide disk redundancy at that level.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;With regards,&lt;BR /&gt;Mohan.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
