      <title>HP Memory?</title>

      <description>Quick question?  We have a RX8640 that had individual memory size of 1gb.  We bought additional memory modules from HP and now I discover they are 2gb each.  Question is?  Is it OK/recommended to mix different size memory modules?  I call HP and they seem to think its OK....</description>

      <description>Yes, that is fine.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Just be sure to follow the rules for installing the RAM.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The largest size  RAM goes in the lowest numbers slots.  Then the next largest, etc.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
