Hello,
We have received two rx2620 machines. When I need to access the MP I press ctrl-b and do my thing.
But, when I need to access my console again, at the MP command prompt I type in "co" and nothing happens. If I plug the console cable into serial port A I get access to HPUX OS just fine
but not from the MP commandline.

I have a second rx2620 doing the exact same thing and I am at a lost to figure out what is wrong at this point.
Please help
When you are using the MP, do you issue the MA command to go to tne main menu, and then issue the co command?

(the co command is only available from the main menu)

No, It is written on the screen to hit ctrl-b to quit. I do that and then from the MP prompt I type co

As you get HPUX OS console on Serial Port A, the servers has this port as the active console device defined in EFI. HPUX will only use the active console devices(input and output) and active standard error device selected in EFI.
You need to change these devices to MP serial port either through EFI Boot Maintenance manager menu's "Select active console" option or "conconfig" EFI shell command.

Refer these docs as well.
http://docs.hp.com/en/5991-5526/ch04s01.html#cihgcffj

http://docs.hp.com/en/AD117-9007A/AD117-9007A.pdf
