    <description>Keep in mind that the rx3600 uses dual-core processors and cpuconfig operates on an entire processor - ie it disables two cores at a time.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Also, don't forget that you have to issue a "reset" for the settings to take effect.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you need/want to be able to do something similar without having to reboot, you may be able to define some processor sets and mpsched/mpctl to restrict what you run to a given set of CPUs and then use intctl to make sure that none of the CPUs you want to be virtually "deconfigured" are taking interrupts from I/O cards.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>I need to disable two of the processors in an RX3600 running HPUX 11.23.  I am in the middle of testing and this is part of the test.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;How do I do this?  I cannot find a way.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Craig</description>
