Hi,

We have a an Integrity sx2k SuperDome where we need to check the firmware versions of the fibre HBAs and LAN cards.

I have identified the firmware for the fibre HBAs, but am struggling to determine it for the LAN cards. Any ideas?

The O/S is HPUX 11.23 with OnlineDiag tools installed.

Thanks,

Paul

Hi Paul,

found in the manual:

"$ lanadmin -x card_info ppa

*********** Version Information ***********
Driver version: B.11.23.05
Firmware version: 12.4.5
Chip version: 0x6PCI-XPCI-X
Sub-System ID: 0x106f (1000Base-SX)
PCI-X Sub-Vendor ID: 0x103c
Board revision: C
Software Key: 6
Engineering Date Code: B-3845"

I'm not aware of any firmware updates for LAN adapters (doesn't mean there are none), but the most important point is to have a current driver installed.
