topic HP Rx660 Server in Integrity Servers

I have an Rx 6600 server with dual power supplies - I can remove the power cord from one power supply and the server stays on, however, when I plug the same power cord back into the power supply, the rx6600 -not so gracefully- shuts-off (most of the chassis lights go-out).

Is this normal? I can find nothing in the 6600 manual about it nor in a google search.
